There is a total of 21 Song Stone puzzles in Phoenotopia: Awakening, each with a unique puzzle hinted nearby. The first type of Song Stones displays their unique symbols and the songs have to be learnt beforehand, while the second type displays a treble clef and the songs are hinted by a nearby riddle instead. Song Stones exist mainly to guard the main story progressions and more often collectibles. In order to open it, the Song Stone must be activated by playing the correct song with a musical instrument next to it. Song Stones are stone tablets which are usually tied to a nearby gate.
